Call for Nominations for Board of Directors and Internal Audit Committee

The Lithuanian Foundation is seeking nominations for candidates to 9 positions – 6 to its Board of Directors for a 3-year term and 3 to the Internal Audit Committee for a 1-year term.  Elections will be held at the Annual LF Member’s Meeting on May 3, 2008 at the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont, Illinois. 

The 2008 LF Nominations Committee members are: Vytas Narutis, chair, Dr. Kazys Ambrozaitis, Daina Kojelyte, Almis Kuolas, and Dr. Antanas Razma. 

Only LF members may serve or submit nominations. In order for names to be pre-printed on the ballot and included in the list of candidates mailed to all voting members of the Foundation 30 days before the Annual meeting, signed nominations must be faxed or mailed to the LF Nominations Committee no later than March 1, 2008.  Nominations will also be accepted at the Annual meeting.

Nominations should include the candidate’s name, address, telephone number, and a short (500 words or fewer) summary of the candidate’s biographical information, qualifications, and his or her written consent for candidacy.
